The quest for the erotic art of the masters has taken BRADLEY SMITH, phcrtographer and author, to the great museums of the world—the Lotivre, the Museum of Modern Art, the Petit Palais of Geneva, and many others. Artworks from private collec-tions have also been reproduced. New firıds, such as an important, never-before-published erotıc etching by Degas, are shown. Works by famous artists of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries—François Boucher, Jean-Honor Fragorıard, Jean-Auguste Dominique Ingres, Paul Gauguin, Thomas Rowlandson, Hono0 Daumier, tclouard Manet, Gustave Courbet, Jean François Millet, Aubrey Beardsley, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Corıstantin Guys, the young Picasso of the 19th centıny and the older Picasso of the 20th—are included in this book. But this is only a brief list of the distinguished painters whose erotic works are reproduced here.
