It is with such thougths in mind, but also with a feeling of profound redpect that I have approached the art of teh Islamic world. Some years ago I had studied with the same respect the architecture of Byzantine churches. Their vaults and arcades have inspired my collection “ Byzantium ” . Inspired by the arabesques of Damascus and of Cairo, of Cordoba and of Isfahan, have creaated for today' s woman a collection of jewels evoking ancient memories.
