^#smrgSAHAF Managing Multimedia with CD -

This book is useful for anyone studying or practicing multimedia. It addresses the multimedia management role of head of a project. There are a variety of titles that are used to denote this--Producer, Managing Editor, Analyst or Senior Software Engineer--for example. The term Project Manager is used here because it is a neutral term which does not betray any media origins since multimedia is produced from a fusion of talents across several media. Project management theory and practice also offers insights to help keep control of projects. Multimedia projects are notoriously difficult to keep within time and budget because there are so many variables. This book analyzes all the variables within multimedia projects from clients to techniques, team members to applying project management principles.
