İn the firts chapter of this book Mr. Ersin Alok displays throug these pictures how the same motifs and forms were used by different people on different objects. It is quite remarkable to see that the same cross - like symbol of Christianity was later used by Muslims as well.

The second chapter of the book comprises striking shots of antique cities and monumental buildings. Anyone travelling along the western and southern parts of Turkey could find remnants of different cultures every 30 - 40 kilometers. With this remarkable localization of the cities, one wonders how these people could live so close to one another yet be so different culturally.
