This book, originally published on the occasion of an international carpet exhibition that took place in Istanbul in 1997 at the city's world-renown Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, brings together a stunning array of 163 rare carpets that were selected from the museum's legendary collection and are presented here for the first time in images of hitherto unachieved quality. In its review of the book, the internationally-respected magazine Hali called it "The ultimate Turkish carpet book...
