As an aggressive emerging scholar with nearly a decade of experience in the energy and environmental economics literature, during my earlier days as a graduate day as a student it was difficult to comprehend advances scientific articles as such was much difficult to understand environmental issues that accounted for bulk concerns in the 21st century. To this end, this Book stems from such motivation to present early career graduate students with a manual guide to basic concept in environmental and energy economics in the simples stylized way possible with minimal technical and subject jargons. However, with the use of basic words to render the environmental issues, this Book make bold to claim that there is no compromise made on the interpretation of the idea presented.

Furthermore, I make bold to claim that this book will serves as learning guide on the theme on explanations on the Environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) concept and its founding theories and highlights leading and influential empirical studies to guide early PhD students and PhD candidate as well as field practitioner with hand on knowledge material on basic insights into environmental degradation and economic expansion tradeoff.
